In late 2002, Kristin Gilpatrick released her newest war veteran profile book, Fooprints in Courage (left), the inspiring story fo World War II veteran Alf Larson who survived not only the tortuous and grueling Bataan Death March but, subsequently, nearly four years as a forced labor prisoner of the Japanese.


Also in 2002, Gilpatrick introduced her contribution
to Badger  Books' Famous WisconsinTM series,
Famous Wisconsin Film Stars. The book profiles
Wisconsin born and/or raised screen stars like
Orson Welles, Spencer Tracy, Willem Dafoe, Agnes
Moorehead and Chris Farley.
